PROACT consists of a sleek core multi-disciplinary professional base - the expertise at the apex level includes competence in key social sectors such as education, health, livelihoods and range of poverty issues. Sound on the perspectives, policies and plans of government initiatives: from national flagship programs to specific sector initiatives by few State Governments, PROACT is known for bringing cutting edge strategic and ICT-based solutions in program implementation and workflow management. Our Story

PROACT was founded to strengthen social development through rigorous research, evaluation, and strategic engagement. Established in 2003, the organization began with a state-level focus and gradually expanded its work across East, North, and Central India in response to the growing need for evidence-based policy insights.

Over time, PROACT deepened its engagement with governments, public institutions, and development partners, supporting large-scale programs while remaining attentive to inclusion, education, financial access, and community participation. Today, PROACT works as a trusted research and advisory partner, helping design and implement development initiatives that are grounded in evidence and responsive to real-world challenges.
